Karim joined Novum Partners in 2019 as senior Investment Manager responsible for public equity investments. He previously worked for 8 years as assistant portfolio manager and senior analyst at Jabre Capital Partners. Prior to this, he spent 6 years as equity analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Bear Stearns and M. Safra & Co. Karim started his career at Rockwell Automation.

Karim holds a MBA in Finance, Accounting and Strategic Management with honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and a B.A. in Business Administration from the American University in Cairo.

Didier joined Novum Partners in 2019 as Chief Operating Officer.

Previously, he spent 8 years as Chief Operating Officer at SG M&RSA, where he oversaw internal procedures, relations with bank counterparties and AML requirements. He also handled requests for structuring, financing and wealth planning from the company’s key clients. Didier started his career as a corporate consultant in China for European companies, before joining GDP Gestion de Patrimoines in Lausanne.

Julien joined Novum Partners in 2023 as Legal Counsel, Head of Compliance and Risk Management.

Previously, he worked as Senior Legal Counsel in various departments of Credit Suisse Asset and Wealth Management in Zurich. Prior to that, he worked for 4 years as Senior Legal and Compliance counsel for an International Wealth Structuring Group headquartered in Luxembourg and for 4 years as Senior Legal Counsel in an International Law Firm based in Geneva and New York City.

Julien is a lawyer and holds a Master’s degree in Law and Economics with a specialization on contracts and business law from the Savoie Mont-Blanc University.

Sebastian joined Novum Partners in 2021. He brings extensive experience from his 13 years with UBS’ international wealth management and global family office desks, where he covered sophisticated families across Europe out of Zurich and London.

Clients entrusted Sebastian with their global wealth situations, and he successfully built one of the largest client portfolios in the Western European market at UBS. Sebastian’s typical clients have complex structures in multiple jurisdictions with its investment and tax considerations. He also assists in family governance and involves the next generation where possible.

He graduated from the Zurich University for Applied Science and is a CFA charter holder. He is fluent in German, English & French with basic knowledge in Croatian.

Julien joined Novum Partners in 2024 as Chief Investment Officer. In his previous role as CIO at the Meyer Family Single Family Office, Julien oversaw a diverse $bn+ portfolio across most asset classes.

Prior to this, he served as an Investment Manager at Upfront Ventures, directing investments into early-stage startups in European markets, and as a Partner at Airbus Ventures, leading investments in global technology startups. Julien’s tenure at JPMorgan in Paris and Geneva, catering to ultra-high-net-worth individuals and foundations, further underscores his ability to deliver tailored investment solutions and exemplary client service.

With a master’s degrees in aerospace engineering and software development from the Ecole des Mines, France, Julien integrates technical acumen into his investment strategies.

Martin is Relationship Manager at Envisage since 2024. He founded Envisage in 2009 and has over 25 years of experience in financial services, consulting, advisory and negotiation. He started his career in investment banking at Merrill Lynch. Followed by a move into management consulting at Accenture, the global consulting company. Working in the strategy consulting unit of Accenture, Martin worked on and led various projects in financial services, private equity, insurance and industry. From 2003 to 2009 Martin was an independent consultant leading international projects in financial services at various large institutions.

Martin has, working with a wide network of specialists, including law firms, tax and accounting firms, IT companies, trust companies and more, provided and coordinated a wide range of advisory services to a large number and variety of clients. Usually working across jurisdictions. These services include comprehensive planning, investment advisory, specialised legal advice, tax advice, negotiation, structuring, trusts, life insurance and various other services to institutions, companies, private individuals and charitable foundations.

Martin graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Economics & Accounting (1992) and a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry (1990) from Flinders University in South Australia.

Vittorio joined as a partner at Novum Partners in 2018. In his role as Market Strategist, Vittorio is responsible for the investment strategy and asset allocation.

Previously, he has worked for over 16 years as the multi-asset class fund manager at BSI, where he successfully managed two fixed income and foreign exchange Total Return funds investing across a large array of financial instruments. Most recently, he worked as Portfolio Manager at Core Asset Management, where he was responsible for the asset allocation and portfolio management of a Total Return strategy.

Vittorio holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from LIUC Castellanza.

Valentine joined Novum Partners in 2022 as equity Investment manager. Previously Valentine was at Berenberg in London where she worked as an equity research analyst in the consumer discretionary team covering luxury goods, sporting goods, retail & eyewear sectors. Prior to this, she was investor relations officer at EssilorLuxottica. She also worked within the luxury goods equity research teams at HSBC and Kepler Chevreux.

Valentine holds an MSc in Financial Markets and Investments from Skema Business School completed across France, China and the US.

Giovanni joined Novum Partners in 2020 as an analyst. In 2023, after three successful years at Novum, Giovanni is responsible for Private Equity and Venture Capital investments.

Previously, he worked in Milan at UBS Asset Management in the Sales department for a year, and at UBS Wealth Management in the Global Segments division for two years.

Giovanni graduated from Bocconi University with a Master of Science in Accounting, Financial Management and Control. He also attended international academic programs in Northwestern University in Chicago and in Alliance Manchester Business School.

Agnese joined Novum Partners in 2024 as Private Equity/Venture Capital Investment Manager.

She previously worked at Decisive Capital Management as Venture Capital/Growth Analyst focusing on direct tech investments. Prior to this, she was an M&A Analyst in Gerald Metals and Banque Profil de Gestion (One Swiss Bank). Agnese started her career at European Investment Fund as Venture Capital Fund Investments Analyst.

Agnese is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) and holds a MSc. In Economics from Cattolica University in Milan. She also holds a Private Markets Certificate from Oxford University SBS, as well as a Postgraduate Master in Private Equity from IFBL.

Aldo joins us as a Private Equity/Venture Capital Associate, bringing strong expertise in strategy consulting, private equity, and investment analysis.

He previously worked as a Senior Associate Consultant at OC&C Strategy Consultants, where he supported leading private equity funds in the due diligence process. Prior to this, he gained experience as a Private Equity Analyst Intern at DeA Capital Alternative Funds in Madrid. He also completed internships at Grimaldi Holding and Method Investments & Advisory, further expanding his exposure to finance and investment.

Aldo holds a Master in Management with a major in Finance from IE Business School in Madrid and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan.
